The preference center is a public page (no login required) where a subscriber manages what they receive from you. They reach it through a secure, tokenized link in the footer of every email. This is the subscriber-facing side of your topics and consent, and it’s what keeps you compliant: every email must link to it.

What a subscriber can do

Manage topics A subscriber sees each topic with its current state (Consent granted, Pending confirmation, Consent revoked or No consent) and can grant or revoke consent per topic individually. Pause emails They can temporarily pause all emails for a chosen number of days without changing any consents. A banner shows Paused until , and they can Resume now at any time. Revoke all They can revoke consent for all topics and stop receiving any email, with a confirmation step. When someone arrives via an unsubscribe link, the page prompts them to confirm; after revoking, they land on a confirmation page. Preference-center links are time-limited. If a link has expired, the subscriber sees a notice explaining they can find a fresh link in the footer of any recent email.
You don’t build this page; Railmail hosts it. Configure the footer wording and links under Settings → Email. See Sending domain.
